Manager/Ast. Manager – Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

    • Market assessment and benchmarking to evaluate potential ecosystem partnerships
    • Targeting new potential partners in line with company’s business development strategy
    • Build strong relationships with prospective partners to build a good product portfolio
    • Collaborate with rest of team members/department to develop and continually refine the sales strategy, develop solutions to drive funnel growth
    • Manage the entire lifecycle of relationship from sourcing, structuring, negotiating. fulfilment, onboarding of partners to helping the relationship to mature
    • P&L ownership and portfolio level revenue growth and realisation
    • Provide superior strategic account management driven by robust account planning
    • Gather market insights, and/or partner feedback and devise strategies accordingly


Required Skills:

    • MBA from a good institute is desirable but not mandatory
    • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant business development/sales or account management experience
    • Experience in financial inclusion and/or fintech domain highly preferable
    • Should be able to connect overall business/process level issues (with minimum supervision)
    • Good Communication and Presentation skills
    • Strong ownership and bias for action; ability to internalize goals and work independently
    • Able to comprehend complex business environment where multiple products, channels, partners and places are involved
    • Has good understanding of financial regulations
    • Can work effectively in semi/unstructured environment with minimal guidance
    • Able to handle difficult situations and deliver results in tight timelines
    • Able to negotiate and close the deals and transactions
    • Willingness to travel 25-40% of the time
