Job Profile:
We are looking for candidates who are having work experience in corporate legal departments of any bank/NBFC/financial institution
Experience: 3+ Years
Job Responsibilities:
Litigation Management
- Responsible for the end-to-end management of the litigation portfolio of the company
- Draft applications, criminal complaints, petitions, affidavits on behalf of the company
- Ensure proper coordination between the respective field officers of the company and the concerned advocates who are handling the matters
- Represent the company and appear before the statutory and/or regulatory authorities, including the judicial and quasi-judicial authorities and law enforcement agencies
Handing of HR Issues
- Deal with the legal aspects of day-to-day HR activities
- Coordinate with the HR team to dispose HR related issues in a lawful manner
- Preparation of various documents related to disciplinary proceedings, such as show cause notices, charge sheets etc.
Other Responsibilities
- Draft complaints, applications, memorandums etc. and prepare replies for statutory/regulatory notices/communications
- Verify the product programs, process notes, BRDs, FSDs etc. related to banking products and services
Competency
- Fair knowledge about Litigation Management, labour legislations, conducting of disciplinary proceedings, Statutory as well as regulatory guidelines about banking and financial sector
- Good knowledge about various guidelines issued by various regulated entities in banking/financial sectors, such as RBI, NPCI, UIDAI, IBA etc
